Every per-action charge, in Canadian dollars. Beyond these, only extra storage and optional Google Calendar sync are metered.

  • Booking: CA$0.01 per appointment

    Charged when the appointment starts. Cancelled before then? No booking fee.

  • Appointment email: CA$0.005 per email sent

    Confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, cancellations, waitlist offers and staff booking alerts. Switch off any you don't need.

  • Reschedule: CA$0.001 per change

    Whether you or your client moves the appointment.

  • Cancellation: CA$0.001 per cancellation

    Cancelling a whole recurring series counts once.

  • Automatic translation: CA$0.0001 per text translated

    Only when you press Translate in the design editor. You see the total before it starts, and only texts actually delivered are charged.

CA$0.02 in total: the CA$0.01 booking fee plus 2 emails at CA$0.005 each — the confirmation and the default reminder.

Google Calendar sync (optional)

Charged once a day from your credit at 5× what it costs us to run (servers, queues and database), for each staff member who connects a calendar. Settings shows the charge so far this month, and disconnecting stops it.

Beyond the free storage: CA$10 per GB-month for records and CA$0.20 per GB-month for files, billed daily. Delete data and the charge stops.

  • Is there really no monthly fee?

    Really. There is no subscription, no setup fee and no seat fee. You pay for bookings, emails and other actions as they happen, plus — only if you use them — extra storage and Google Calendar sync. An idle account that uses neither costs nothing.

  • What exactly am I charged for?

    CA$0.01 per booking (charged when the appointment starts), CA$0.005 per appointment email we send (confirmations, reminders, follow-ups), CA$0.001 per cancellation, CA$0.001 per reschedule and CA$0.0001 per text you choose to translate automatically. You can switch off any email type you don't need. Staff who connect Google Calendar are charged for the sync once a day, at 5× what it costs us to run. Your booking page, sign-in and receipt emails, and client records within the free storage are not charged.

  • Do my clients pay anything?

    No. Clients book, cancel and reschedule for free, and schcal never charges them or handles their payments. You bill your clients the way you always have.

  • Is a cancelled appointment charged the booking fee?

    No. The booking fee is charged when the appointment starts, so an appointment cancelled before then is only charged the cancellation fee and any emails already sent.

  • How do I pay?

    You keep a prepaid credit balance and top up by card, from CA$10. Turn on automatic top-up and it refills when it runs low. Every charge is itemized in your wallet.

  • What happens if my credit runs out?

    Nothing breaks. Existing appointments, reminders and your records keep working; only new bookings pause until you add credit.

  • Can I add my whole team?

    Yes. Invite as many practitioners and receptionists as you need — there are no seat fees. Costs follow appointments (and Google Calendar sync, for staff who connect it), and owners can see each practitioner's share.

  • How much storage is included?

    Each office includes 1 GB of client records and 5 GB of documents. Beyond that, storage costs CA$10 per GB-month for records and CA$0.20 per GB-month for files, billed daily.

  • Can I try it first?

    Your first office starts with CA$1 of free credit — about 50 appointments — and signing up needs no credit card. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
